Nate Shroyer grew up around forestry and wildfire management and expressed an interest in pursuing a forestry career at a young age. That has translated into a career following that path. He is a Forester, having graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula with a BS in Forestry with a Minor in Wildfire Sciences and Management. He also holds an Associates of Science in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) along with a Certificate in GIS. 

Nate is a member of the Society of American Foresters and holds a Certified Forestry Technician CFT credential and is also a Candidate Certified Forester CCF and a Candidate Certified Urban and Community Forester CCUCF.  Additionally, he is a Certified Arborist RM-8768A with the International Society of Arboriculture. He is proficient in chainsaw work, tree pruning, tree inventory, forest inventory, forest ecology, and management planning. He is well versed in GIS and one of our primary drone pilots, having his FAA Part 107 sUAS certification. He also spent several summers as a seasonal wildland firefighter with the USFS as well, having 6 years experience there.
